Have an idea for a great song you've written? Someone came to me with an idea for a theme song for the boxer Jermain Taylor. We recorded it, mixed it, mastered it, and got it into Jermain's hands and he loved it. It also got some airtime on a local sports radio program.

Don't Hide, Go Seek was also written by Shane Pennington and arranged by me. Shane provides the lead vocals and I provide the guitars. Drums and bass were sequenced.
Audio: Full Bands - 10fold
10fold is a very talented 5 piece Christian rock band that writes and performs their own music. This album was recorded at my studio with each member recording their own parts individually. The drums were looped and sequenced in with the help of 10folds drummer who worked closely with me to get the sound and style he wanted. In addition to recording mixing and mastering the album I provided the lead electric guitar work on "Trust" & "Reason" and acoustic guitar on "Your My King " that was included in the final release. I am sure you will enjoy the songs from the album that I have posted as samples above.

Many times people come to me who have a particular talent or gift that they want to record and preserve just to share with family and freinds. Dan Utter was a talented tenor who selected his own music and provided his own performance tracks. We recorded his vocals, mixed and mastered the tracks and he wound up with a wonderful CD that he could keep, share, and pass down.
Audio: My Corner - Michael Napoli
One of the ways I challenge myself and my capabilities in the audio recording process is to try to reproduce as close as possible a commercial recording that I like. The two songs above are the result of just such an endeavor. The first, "December" by Collective Soul was done with sequenced drums and bass. I delivered the guitars, keys, and vocal parts, and my wife Debra did the backup vocals. I think its very close to the original. The second song "Away from the Sun" by 3 Doors Down was done pretty much the same way except the vocals were done by a nice young man from Seattle who told me that he couldn't sing. Go figure?
I love to listen to a good blues guitar and the only thing better than that for me is playing a good blues guitar. "Those Who Trust" is all about that! Enjoy.The next song is a another reproduction of a song "Blessed Be Your Name" with some interesting sequenced piano and synth. parts.
Audio: Blue Grass - The Russell Family
Ricky Russell and his two daughters Julie and April loved to play music together as a family and had gotten quite good at it. Ricky wanted to capture some of this musical energy to preserve and cherish. Ricky provided the guitar and banjo while Julie and April let loose on the violin or "fiddle" as it's called in the blue grass genre. John Houser is on bass.

Solid Rock was a band I was in a few years back but the real story here is the lead singer John Smith (Photo: Top Center). He has since moved to Nashville to pursue his career there. We wish him well.
